After being presumed wiped out completely in the early 27th century by the combined might of the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Delta quadrants, a single borg drone managed to revive the Borg Collective after 250 years. When the collective was breached and the queen had nowhere left to run, she transferred her consciousness to all the remaining drones and made them go into a hibernation-like state. Most of these were tracked down and destroyed, but a few survived under a masked signal. They were programmed to wait in that state until some kind of upper hand could be gained on the federation. This upper hand came when a drone pod housing a lone drone magnetized to the surface of a disabled Fed Temporal Dreadnought (Tempest Class) ship that was thrown out of time by the Temporal Cold War. The drone reactivated and transported into the hull of the ship where it began assimilating systems and downloading schematics and technological information to better assimilate ships of that era and how to resist their weaponry. This drone assimilated this ship and upgraded itself in the process, resembling "One" as we saw in Star Trek: Voyager. He used the bodies of deceased crew members to create more drones and even used one as the new Borg Queen, who then reactivated all the dormant drones and transferred the knowledge they had picked up from this one ship. With this knowledge, the drones began upgrading themselves and single handedly assimilating ships, converting the ships and crew over to the new collective. Over time, they built up quite an armada and jumped forwards in time to try to gain more tech. When the borg found that the Federation had actually regressed, they took the advantage to try to assimilate the federation once and for all. The federation called out to different timelines for help, which the Dark Timeline responded. The Dark Federation and the Prime Federation worked together to drive the new collective away and (hopefully) destroying them for good, although there are a few borg drones and temporal ships that are scattered throughout time that need to be tracked down before they can do anything to alter events." Its equipped a near solid Neutronium outer armor and an internal made of Transcendental Tetraburnium to protect even more against temporal weapons. For beam weapons it is equipped with an Intra-Graviton Phaser array, 8 Subspace Slicing Beams and 1 Hypergravimetric Planetkiller beam. For torpedoes it has both light and heavy Transcendental Gravimetric torpedoes
