GPS fix on an FPV drone can take a few seconds, a few minutes and in some cases never happen. How long should you wait for a valid GPS fix? It depends if it's a Cold Start, Warm Start or Hot Start. But as a rule of thumb, if it's taking more than 5 minutes in the open field, something is wrong.
