In this video I will walk you step by step through the entire process of BLACK AND WHITE CONVERSION of a male portrait in Capture One. With this edit I want to show you that your original Raw file, your starting point doesn't have to be technically perfect to yield interesting results. Going for BLACK AND WHITE surely simplifies the process - since we don't need to think anymore about color in the image. This works if your image has strong, rich textures and can take well enhanced contrast. The crucial factor here is starting off with a Raw file to take full advantage of all the information that can be processed inside Capture One.
