The world of Indian news podcasts just got weird — gush-fests, rival rants, and spiritual TRP boosters.

First up, NDTV’s new TRP formula feels all too familiar — put controversial godmen on primetime. This week’s star: Rambhadracharya, known for casteist, communal, and ignorant remarks. The podcaster-anchor Shubhankar Mishra had such incisive questions as whether there should be inter-caste marriages.
