Hik-Connect 3.0 Cloud P2P Setup and Sharing

Hikvision discontinued new device registration with HiDDNS and now offers a new service called Hik-Connect which is a cloud P2P service that is easier to use and more secure for the following reasons.
1. It does not require port forwarding.
2. The stream can be encrypted.
3. Easily share devices and set permissions without creating additional accounts in the device.
4. Other people are blocked from adding the device unless it is specifically shared with them.

This video demonstrates the 3 step setup of Hik-Connect.
1. Enable Hik-Connect P2P service.
2. Create a Hik-Connect account.
3. Add the device to the account.

Additional options include the following.
1. Share the device with other Hik-Connect accounts.
2. Enable DDNS within Hik-Connect for device access via web browser.
3. Use Hik-Connect to manage all your devices and quickly check their online statuses.
