Make a Haunted House - Front Porch Decorating Ideas - DIY Halloween Prop We are building a spooky DIY haunted house walkthrough for Halloween. We focus on the front porch making bat shaped corbels and brackets for giant haunted house façade front porch for our Halloween home haunt and yard display. This was our most outrageous Halloween Home Haunt yet which was featured on the ABCs 'The Great Halloween Fright' for 2014. This is part 3 to the Halloween haunted house façade series. We were contacted to have our Western Ghost Town featured on the show but after finding out we no longer had it we were given the task of designing creating a new haunt in less than 50 days for filming in August. This year's theme is an old creepy rundown Haunted House full of ghosts and spooks. We hope you join us on this years adventure. We have been designing and planning a way to create a Haunted house that has all our favorite qualities from other famous Haunted Houses like Addams Family, Psycho House, The Munsters, The Burbs, Monster House & many others. We will try to fill the house with all kinds of creepy moving & motorized props in the windows. As kids walk through the yard they will trip several motion sensors that will trigger all kinds of props to help create a real fill of a Haunted House. In this video we build the haunted front porch and decorating details. Jeana continues the crackle painting by applying modern master crackle for latex and white paint to the wood pieces that will serve as the siding for the haunted house walkthrough. We continue making the walls and porch posts. We start to set up the decorative wood porch posts, lower railing, upper spandrels, and start installing the bat shaped corbels or porch brackets.
