Landing on a short runway requires precision and discipline. The key is a stabilized approach and a thorough briefing of the runway charts in order to reduce the deadly risk of crashing off the end. In this video I will perform a short field landing at Red Deer airport on a relatively short runway from the pilots perspective. I love these challenging approaches, BUT I've also had lots of practice and been flying this airplane for over 10 years... and it still makes me nervous! Practicing short field takeoffs and landings are something that every pilot should do in order to get better and improve their skills overall! Enjoy!
