In this video, I show you how to recreate and adapt Steven Gerrard's Rangers tactics in FIFA 20 so that they will actually work in game.

Gerrard's system is a versatile tactic, setup to get the best out of players with attacking flair such as Ryan Kent and Ianis Hagi; as well as the wing backs in Borna Barisic and James Tavernier.

It involves getting the wingers into central areas to support the striker in Alfredo Morelos, whilst the wing backs storm into the space created and supplement them with crosses. Meamwhile, the midfield three offer a workmanlike support to the attacking players.

Defensively, Rangers switch between a counter press and counter attack during games and depending on the situation. They have players who are able to fit both schemes which aids them to be more unpredictable.
