In Jerusalem, the Western Wall gets all the attention, but only a couple minutes walk away is another wall, significantly older and of no lesser historical (if not spiritual) significance! This ancient wall dates back almost 2700 years to the reign of King Hezekiah and is known as a Broad Wall or Hezekiah’s Wall. It is covered with moss and steeped with history. Though its ruins run beneath much of the Jewish quarter, a large portion has been excavated in a location immediately adjacent to the quarter's central square - and yet most tourists don’t see it!

The site is buried so deep below the present-day city level, that it can hardly be called a wall
anymore. Tourists can view it from above, but most of them hurry by without
bothering to glance at one more pile of insignificant rocks in a city full of significance.

Come hear the story of the Broad Wall built by Hezekiah to fend off the army of Assyria. This battle/siege was viewed by previous generations as perhaps the most fateful event in the kingdoms three-hundred-years history to that point.

This exclusive FREE ONLINE walking tour will be led by a VIP licensed tour guide Olga Barkon with 16 years of experience. Specializing in Jerusalem, she will show you the most important hidden sight of the city and create an unforgettable experience
