Carlos Santana (born 1947) is a Mexican-American guitarist, singer, and songwriter, known as one of the most influential guitarists of all time. His music blends many genres, including rock, blues, Latin, jazz and psychedelia.

Born in Autlán de Navarro, Jalisco, Mexico, Santana moved to Tijuana with her family as a child. Here, he began playing guitar and joining local bands. In 1966, he moved to San Francisco, California and founded the Santana Blues Band, later renamed Santana.

The band Santana achieved great success in the 1960s and 1970s with albums such as "Santana" (1969), "Abraxas" (1970) and "Santana III" (1971). Their music's unique blend of rock, blues, latin and psychedelia, along with Santana's virtuoso guitar performances, attracted a large number of fans.

Santana has released more than 20 studio albums throughout her career and has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. He has won 10 Grammy Awards, 3 Latin Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Santana is known for his unique guitar playing technique, which combines blues, latin and rock elements. He is also known for his inspirational performance style and ability to connect with audiences.
