Building a macOS Menu Bar App - The Dad Jokes Series (Part 1)

In this video you will learn how to create and distribute your own menu bar apps for macOS. This is an app that runs from and is attached to an icon in the Mac’s menu bar. You likely have many of these in your menu. We will be building an app that fetches random dad jokes and presents them to you in a view attached to your menu. Learn how to add custom menus with SwiftUI and take advantage of the built-in About and Quit menu types. In addition you will learn how to notarize your app so you can share it with your friends without having to go through the app store.
