This song is sad. 😭 And to be perfectly honest, this remix was a challenge, not because of anything other than the feeling in the song, behind the words. Ultimately it's a song of sadness and loss, sang by someone who first hand understands what those feelings are and what can and has caused them throughout time.

At first my instinct was to simply cut out the words "She Wolf" and turn it into a vocal mosaic that spoke about what I wished to hear, yet not more than a few minutes into that idea and I could tell it was wrong...I had to honor the feeling without trying to gloss over it, the same as I would walking the path of mastery. We don't grow and evolve by ignoring what we're feeling.

With that in mind, what came out over the next few hours was a simple, nearly unchanging dream state, which is what the story felt like to me, like a hazy remembrance of something that may or may have not happened like it was remembered, yet it's effect remains undeniably.

May all who know sadness and loss find the refuge held within Grace that leads us to the door of our own heart, where all healing is possible. I bow humbly in Jimmy's direction for his heartfelt delivery, to David Buzzi for his inspired writing and to Pony records for hearing the vision.
