SVM photo chief Alex T. Paschal gives viewers a unique look at photo processing by developing an image in-house at our Sterling, Ill. offices. It's both a science and an art. Photo processing was once a common sight within the walls of a newspaper's offices. Digital technology has all but eliminated the need for manual production, however, most of the knowledge and fundamentals still are useful to photographers today.
