How to increase stitches (inc) in crochet

In this crochet tutorial, I'll show you how to increase stitches (inc) when crocheting in the round to increase the size of your amigurumi piece. I'll show you two different methods to increase the single crochet stitch in the round – the regular increase stitch, and the invisible increase stitch. The invisible increase stitch is an alternative to the regular increase stitch if you notice that doing a regular increase stitch is creating holes in your amigurumi. If you do the invisible increase, you pull less on the same hole and therefore don't have as big of a hole. The increase stitch is often abbreviated as “inc” or written as something like “2 sc in the same stitch”.
