Let's dive into the conversation and find out WHY some of our #acyf volunteers putted their hands up to serve young people and make a big difference in Melbourne's MASSIVE EVER festival to date! Starting with St. James Apostle, Hoppers Crossing, Victoria Australia 🇦🇺🇻🇦

@thecatholicjourno learnt that with 6000 youths and young adults participating, we wonder how parishes across Melbourne envision a space for all people to get involved and expand their skill-sets?

⛪️The church always has something for us to do and wants to pull our talents out no matter what it is we can do.

There's always merit and multiple oppprtunities as to what a person can bring to the table with a full mind, heart of hearts and holy spirit combined! 🫡🔥

Perhaps you may have a particular skill you can offer to the church that can rebuild and restrengthen mass, build a community and connect with people!

Comment below what is it you are good at! Perhaps God sees the fruits of your talents and wants it to do something about it? 🤔💭

Some initiatives like Knights of the Southern Cross are looking for young men to take the next step and serve the church. Catholic Women's League is doing the same! They are tagged so that you can explore their instagram page should you have any further enquries🫡

All of these platforms aim to build a space where men and women are given roles that compliment their skills whether that is acting, singing, building, reading, educating, facilitating discussions, events managing, mcing,marketing, co-ordinating charity initiatives, liaising stakeholders etc, the Church offers committee leadership mentoring, networking opportunities and leadership development programs to young people and all people alike based on their merits and individual capacities. 🏃‍♂️💨

GET INVOLVED AND THRIVE 🌟✨️ The Church needs young and fresh minds to serve the church and the wider community!
