Pheasant Hunting With My Dog For The First Time!

Pheasant hunting has become a new obsession of mine over the last couple years, so when a few of my buddies from VA came up to North Dakota for a waterfowl hunting trip I knew we had to chase some roosters as well. On the third day of our trip we got the perfect opportunity to head out after some upland birds with my lab Leroy since a bunch of fresh snow had fallen overnight. We were lucky enough to knock down a few roosters over the course of the afternoon and Leroy got his first retrieves, helping us find a couple birds that we would've likely lost without him.
