Wireless Security Camera System Design by CCTV Camera Pros

https://www.cctvcamerapros.com/storage - This wireless security camera system was designed by CCTV Camera Pros for a self storage facility in Boynton Beach, Florida. The design consists of wireless IP cameras and hard wired HD CCTV cameras that use coax cable and BNC connectors.

This type of hard wired / wireless hybrid security camera system design is applicable to all types of residential, commercial, and government applications (not just storage facilities). This storage facility project was a good project to document this type of system because it consists surveillance cameras installed at many separate buildings that stream their video over WIFI back to a central DVR.

The security cameras installed at the separate buildings all record on a centralized DVR located at the facility office.

The "wireless security camera systems" installed on on the 4 storage unit buildings consist of 2 IP cameras, 1 PoE network switch, 1 outdoor wireless antenna, and a weatherproof NEMA power box.

These systems transmit the video signal over a long range WIFI bridge back to a receiving antenna installed at the facility.

In addition to the 7 wireless IP cameras, there are also 7 hard wired BNC security cameras installed at this facility (HD CCTV). The CCTV cameras are hard wired to a network video server using RG59 Siamese cable.

A custom built GeoVision NVR is used as the recorder. A 40 inch HDTV is installed in the lobby of the office as a live security camera display monitor.
