Samsung Austin Research and Development Center (SARC) and Advanced Computing Lab (ACL), are divisions of Samsung Austin Semiconductor, LLC. Our story started back in 2010 when SARC was founded in Austin, TX. In 2017, SARC merged with ACL in San Jose, CA as a joint charter and started growing the GPU team. Since 2020, we have been on a mission to grow our center of excellence to develop competitive IP solutions and drive Samsung GPU technology into high-performance computing devices (premium mobile, automotive) consumed by millions of people around the world.

Innovation is our focus, but what makes innovative technology happen is the people and talent behind it. Meet Anantharaj, Patrick, and Peggy! The trio of #WeAreSarcAcl walks us through their roles and teams.
