Honey hunting is an age-old tradition in Nepal and it is the vital part of Nepali culture. Honey hunting is common in many parts of Nepal. It may include hunting in forests and mountains, where one can find honey in the most authentic and natural habitat possible.
This ancient practice involves collecting hallucinogenic wild honey produced by Himalayan honeybees. Wild honey is also commonly known as Mad Honey.
It's a lifetime experience that unleashes your inner adventurer and also a golden opportunity that lets you know about the culture and traditions of the villages in Nepal.
Recently I got a chance to witness this epic adventure in Ramuwa village,Baglung.
