DIY Goalie Blocker Repalming

Now, I'm not an expert in either goaltending or equipment repair, but after my first goalie lesson earlier this year (   • I Was A 44-Year-Old Rookie Goaltender  ), I got the goalie bug, and went out and bought a set of used gear. The only problem with it was the wretched condition of the blocker palm.

Yes, I could go and have it professionally replaced for about a hundred bucks, or I could go on Sideline Swap and get a replacement blocker for just a bit more. But I have some leftover leather, and thought I'd try my hand at a DIY palm replacement.
