Lovebirds Meal Time - Wednesday, December 3rd, 2020

The lovebirds are eating a good selection of leafy greens and seeds. It is a cloudy week, it has been raining a lot in the last few days, unlike what I told about 3 weeks ago. It rained heavily from noon to evening, sometimes until midnight, sometimes until the next morning. This makes me happy, this weather makes the air cool and the rain makes the plants grow healthy. I think that in this aviary there are plenty of places for each pair of birds to be close together on cold nights. So that they don't get cold. We are happy enough just by imagining it.

The food we provide this time consists of green vegetables and whole grains. The grain mix that we provide is white millet, red millet, yellow millet, canary seeds, niger seeds, chia seeds, foxtail millet, mustard seeds, whole oat seeds, unhulled rice, buckwheat, safflower, black and white sunflower seeds. While the vegetables are lettuce, chicory, mustard pokchoy, and kale.
