People are gossiping that it's a very bad omen that the bride's father passes away. Maya's mother enters the venue whining and Mays is trying to calm her down. Arjun's mother now blames Maya for marriage and questions her for not listening to her despite all the bad luck. Police enter the scene for a little investigation about Ashwin's demise and interrogate everybody.
