Final Fantasy XII IZJS #35 - D. Estersand Rare Games, Cactoid Family & Desert Patient Side Quest #2

In Dalmasca Estersand, you can find the rare monsters: Ripe Rampager, Greeden, and Nekhbet. To encounter the Ripe Rampager, defeat all the Cactites in the Yardang Labyrinth, then check the southwestern corner near the Outpost exit. Greeden spawns in the Banks of the Nebra after waiting in the area for three minutes without leaving. In the Sand-swept Naze, for Nekhbet to appear, you need to defeat at least one Cockatrice, giving it a 20% chance to spawn.
After completing the events at the Tomb of Raithwall, you can continue with the Desert Patient Sidequest and start the Cactoid Family Sidequest. Tchigri asks Vaan to accompany him on a ferry ride to the North Bank Village. After speaking with Ruksel, you're sent back to the South Bank Village. There, Dantro's Wife realizes the cactoid Vaan hunted earlier is the one he's now searching for. She mentions a flower she left behind the house, and upon visiting the spot, Vaan sees that the cactoid has grown back.
After speaking with Tchigri, returns to the North Bank Village and receives 1,000 gil and the Wyrmfire Shot. You can then head to Broken Sands to collect Valeblossom Dew, to continue the Desert Patient Quest. After collecting all items, return to Dantro's Wife and give her the items, she'll request a Great Serpentskin, which you may have received as a reward from the Nidhogg hunt. After giving the items, exit and reenter the area to meet the recovering traveler behind her house, he will reward you with the Barheim Key and another item, which varies based on how much items you contributed. The reward can be a Balance Mote, Magick Gloves, or a Golden Amulet. Even if the Great Serpentskin was sold, the quest can still be completed.
