From 1 Samuel 16 to 2 Samuel 5, look at all David went through before becoming King of Israel. If God was not with David, there is no way that he would have made it as far as he did. David was the youngest son of Jesse, whom Saul considered a youth when it was time to face Goliath. David is the same person God had Samuel anoint as King over Israel years before the promise was fulfilled. As I continue to say, God’s promises require us to go through His process. If we stay in the will of God on our entire journey, God will see that no matter what, we will be who He has called us to be, be where He has called us to be, and do what He has anointed us to do. I genuinely believe that because it’s God’s word. Since I committed my life fully to Jesus Christ, my journey is proof of God’s promises, process, grace, and mercy. I know that I am only where I am because of Jesus Christ. There were/are some experiences we didn't know we would have to face and some experiences we thought we would have to face that God kept us from. Unless God’s written and revealed word tells us something we truly don't know, we must rely on God every step of the way and do what He calls us to do. Remember Ephesians 3:20-21: “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. “God, I thank You for who You are, for what You have done in my life, for what You are doing in my life, and what You will do in my life as I stay in Your will, be guided by the Holy Spirit, and delight in Your Son Jesus Christ. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.” If we are ever found outside of God’s will and participating in anything against Him, we must confess it, forsake it, and repent. Fear the Lord. Put your faith in Jesus Christ. Receive the Holy Spirit and live to do the will of God.
