Last month I downloaded the Zbrush TRIAL VERSION. Did you know that anyone can try Zbrush for free for 30 days?
After a few weeks of studying and testing the program, I finally felt confident enough to try out some specific creatures like DOBBY, GOLLUM, and E.T. ...

I certainly did NOT become a Zbrush specialist in such a short time, Zbrush is not that easy to learn, it has its own quirks and logic, and it is full of unprecedented possibilities that I can still only dream of!
But I can already do SOME RAW BASIC SCULPTING as you can see in this timelapse video.

I started from the 'Demo Female Head ZTool' (available in the Zbrush LightBox) and transformed it into these 3 well-known, popular creatures in 3 consecutive sessions. Check it out and have fun :-)

(Of course the timelapse video gives a distorted picture of reality: in real life I'm not a speedsculpter, when I'm working I'm not in a hurry. This time maybe a little more than usual, because of the video recording, but no, most of the time I'm a quiet guy. :-)
The timelapse is only 4 minutes, but the original sessions lasted a little longer, a few hours all together…)
