[Flight] Royal Brunei Airlines 787 & A320 | Melbourne to Tokyo Narita

Royal Brunei Airlines Flight Review | Melbourne to Narita:

FlightReview from my recent trip with Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) onboard their Boeing 787-8 and A320neo onboard their Economy Class. RBA reinstated their BWN-NRT flight in December 2022 after the Japanese government announced their post Covid-19 reopening of borders. The following were my flight details:

Flight 1: BI6 - Melbourne (MEL) to Bandar Seri Begawan (BWN) with Boeing 787-8, registration V8-DLC
Flight 2: BI695 - Bandar Seri Begawan to Tokyo Narita (NRT) with Airbus A320-200 NEO, registration, V8-RBC

The ticket I purchased was a bargain which offset the transit wait time I had to endure. The flight from MEL arrived at 5:30pm in BWN and our flight left BWN for NRT at 00:35 hours. Around 6-7 hours to transit, which is a bit long. Considering there is BWN is a pretty quiet and small airport, unlike regional players like SIN, KUL, and BKK. My advice would be to spend time at the SkyLounge by paying a small fee or venture out to Bandar Seri Begawan city for local food.
