Amy King is known for her work with Pallet, a social purpose company working to end unsheltered homelessness. These shelters are meant to be temporary and they go together in about 20 minutes with no tools required. The shelters last 10+ years. They're meant to be a cost-effective solution for cities and service providers to shelter people quickly and cost-effectively, basically a place for someone to stay and keep their things and have an opportunity to stabilize as they transition out of homelessness.
