Initialize TR Profi Safe Encoder to Single turn with Siemens TIA V17

This video shows how a Profi Safe Encoder form TR Electronics in a Siemens TIA V17 environment is initialized to a single turn encoder. In this case it is changed to a single turn encoder. This is useful if you use the encoder on a excentric press for example. Therefor it is use as a single turn rotary axis. In the module parameters for the TR Encoder simply change the measuring range to 360 respectively 3600 to get a 360 degree rotary axis. If you change it 3600 you will get a tenth of a degree resolution.
In profinet safety it is necessary that you change the CRC Safety Code for the encoder.
TR electronics provide a little application that is you can executive in the Siemens tia portal safety plc environment. The name of the application is "TR TCI Device Tool". This can be downloaded on the TR electronics homepage. The link is: https://www.tr-electronic.de/service/....
Just install the downloaded program on the windows machine on which the TIA Portal runs.
