According to a new patent, Apple in the next generation iPhone and iPad button "Home" will be made of liquid metal. Also, the patent states that the button will be able to respond to the pressing force, as it is implemented in the latest models of iPhone.
The company has long been planning to go on a liquid metal in their devices, but at the moment of this material is made only branded "clip", which is used to extract the SIM-card tray. Creating a button "Home" from the liquid metal will reduce the number of failures of the part.
