Bihar DGP Vinay Kumar says that all preparations were completed yesterday evening, and 1,650 companies of paramilitary forces & around 5 lakh security personnel are being deployed for the first phase of polling.

He added that sector patrolling, static booths, and sensitive zones have all been strengthened, with additional forces and companies assigned for area domination.
