Deborah loves her clothes and wanted a dressing table forgetting ready for glamour events.
The walk in wardrobe is relatively compact, so compact shoe storage was allocated in the corridor into the bedroom to save space and have them ready to pop on as Deborah leaves her room.
The walk in wardrobe is hidden with a mirror barn door which reflects the water views, and of course is handy for checking out the outfit for the day.
Inside, integrated lighting throws light onto the clothing and gives a gently lit ambience to the space.
Creating a decent dressing table space in this galley style walk in wardrobe was achieved by creating a T -shape area at the end of the galley with full height mirror panels to visually expand the area.
Excellent lighting is required for the make-up area where a high Colour Rendering Index of 97 or more ensures the colour of lipstick chosen is realistically represented inside the walk in wardrobe as it will be in the daylight.
Of course Deborah is renowned for her love of scarves, so there are plenty of scarf racks and hand bag hooks scattered around the interior to grab at a glance.
It was a lovely project and enjoyable to see Deborah settled into her relaxed, Coastal Hamptons beachside home.
