In this video, I explore the process of painting in grayscale and then adding colour once I'm happy with the form and values. I chose an Orc as my subject for two reasons:
1. Orcs are naturally rough and rugged, and I need more practice painting with texture and being rougher and freer with my brushstrokes, and
2. Orcs are awesome, Warcraft is epic and I've been wanting to paint an orc for years!

All my artwork is painted in Adobe Photoshop using a Wacom Intuos Pro.
