Schubert’s last songs were put together to a cycle called “Schwanengesang” by the publisher after composers death.
This one, the Serenade, called “Ständchen” is based on a poem by Ludwig Rellstab.
The guitar like piano part is gently accompanying the wonderful melody.
Here the first verse played on the violin, second on Violoncello da spalla.

Цикл песен Шуберта «Лебединая песня» был создан в 1828 году, не задолго до смерти композитора.
Самой знаменитой стала Серенада на стихи Людвига Релльштаба.
Незатейливая партия фортепиано, имитируя гитару, нежно и деликатно аккомпанирует красивейшей мелодии голоса.
Первый куплет звучит на скрипке, второй- на виолончели да спалла.
