Sapphire Sea was danced at “The Golden Jubilee Ball “held by Melbourne Colonial Dancers on 29th June 2024.
The Venue was Preston Town Hall, Melbourne, Australia.
The dance, “Sapphire Sea was devised by Christine Robb in 2015
The Tune “Tom Kruskal’s” was composed by Emily Troll & Amelia Mason
Melbourne Colonial Dancers Band provided the music for the Evening.

4 Bars: 2nd Corners turn left hand (2nd man 1st lady)
4 Bars: 1’s cast down into the middle of line
While 2’s lead up and cast onto the ends
All face 2nd woman
8 Bars: Dolphin hey’s 1’s passing right shoulders with 2nd woman

4 Bars: Lines lead up a double and fall back
4 Bars: 2’s gate the 1’s up approx. letting go early to both move
