What kind of bariatric surgery is this?
Sleeve gastrectomy (sleeve gastrectomy) is a laparoscopic operation that ranks first in demand.

Gastric reduction surgery is performed with a camera that is inserted through an incision above the navel, the doctor can see everything clearly.

The patient is then given 4 more small incisions, one or half a centimetre each. The abdominal cavity is inflated with carbon dioxide. In a sleeve resection, doctors go through all sections of the oesophagus and stomach. Up to 70-80% of the stomach is removed - the storage part of the stomach, which secretes the hunger hormone ghrelin. The removed tissue is removed through a 12-millimetre hole. The remaining stomach volume is approximately 200 to 250 ml.
