A few days after my arrival at the Jaguar Rescue Center in Costa Rica, an orphan baby howler was brought to the centre. He was crying a lot, so they asked me at 5 pm to take him in my arms and go for a walk. He calmed down in my arms and fell asleep, but I was walking with him until 9 pm. No wonder, he won my heart. I come in the morning to hold him and sometimes feed him in the morning. I spend time with him before he falls asleep, often in my arms. I also try to spend as much time as possible with him during the day, first walking with him around the centre, then watching and safeguarding him playing on a special made ‘jungle gym’ and feeding him. My heart belongs to this cute little monkey, whose name is Parismino.
He was found in the town of Parismina in Costa Rica. His mother was dead, and the woman who found him took care of him for about 2 months. Then she decided to give care of him to the professionals and brought him to the Jaguar Rescue Center in Puerto Viejo de Limon.
