This coversong was, possibly, the last version of this song to be approved by Colin himself. One of the last posts on his Facebook page, before his terrible accident, was something like "Interesting version of Wonderful Life from Norway. It has a cool, scandinavian touch to it." It was an honour that he shared it with all of his followers.

We had a gig in Poland at the day he died, and we got to know about it just hours before we went on stage. It was particularly hard to play it live that night, but we felt we had to do it for Colin, and we asked the audience to send him warm thoughts instead of clapping... And they all did... A very special moment on a very strange night to perform the song live.

Well, now you know the story behind our song, and we hope you like it. The video is a "copy" of the original video from Black, except for a few scenes that were impossible for us to shoot. But we are proud to present this video, and this is our tribute to a man we knew - Colin R.I.P.

In 1985 Vearncombe wrote the ironically entitled minor key song "Wonderful Life". It was released independently through Ugly Man Records, and got Black noticed by A&M Records who signed Vearncombe and launched his international career.
