Officials recovered the body of a man who was swept away in the Blackfoot River near Johnsrud Park on Monday.

We're told the man was wade fishing near the Johnsrud Park fishing access when he went under the water and did not return to the surface.

Searchers and dive team members recovered the body, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim's name has not been released.
