In 2010, the final dike was breached in an effort to restore the Nisqually Tidal Estuary near Olympia, Wash. USA, and reclaim its natural state after a century spent as farmland. This video shows the incoming tide in real-time as it moves across the old farmland, which is now part of Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge.
