Dawaipani, peaceful village in Darjeeling

Dawaipani lies around 20 km away from #darjeeling . The name is derived from “Dawai” meaning medicine and “Pani” meaning water. Such a name emerges from the water of a nearby stream that is believed to have medicinal properties. With a majestic view of Kanchenjunga on one side and the Darjeeling hills on the other, this is an ideal place to rest the tired brain and body. It is simple but clean with all the basic amenities including geyser for hot water. The hosts were quite warm to us and the food cannot be complained of. Recommended.
