Putin vows response to Ukraine's surprise incursion of Russia's Kursk region

Ukrainian troops have made a surprise push into Russia's Kursk region, becoming the first foreign army to seize Russian territory since the Second World War.

Russian President Vladimir Putin says the incursion is a negotiation tactic by Ukraine for any future peace talks, while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksyy claims it was done purely to liberate Ukraine’s border region from shelling.
