In this New Orleans travel video we are in the New Orleans French Quarter at Verti Marte Deli & Grocery on a travel search for the best sandwich, plate lunch, and po’boy options in New Orleans. Verti Marte Deli & Grocery is located at 1201 Royal Street and is a locals favorite in the New Orleans French Quarter. This is one of the few remaining spots in New Orleans to get food 24 hours a day and 7 days a week! This is a great example of a neighborhood grocery that used to be a common thing in New Orleans but is getting to be a rare sight these days. If you know where to look you can still find places like this that offer some simple grocery items along with prepared food like the po’boys and plate lunches the deli here offers.
