Routine Testing of Isolators - CRM Test and IR Test

Isolators are electrically/mechanically operated mechanical switches which are used to separate a part of electrical circuit under "no load" conditions.

Routine Tests conducted on Isolators :
1) Contact Resistance Measurement (CRM) Test
2) Insulation Resistance (IR) Test
