GOD WANTS TO BLESS YOU? RETURN BACK TO HIS HOUSE!

The Church God Will Bless: Acts 2:41-47 **

NOTE: FOR THE CHURCH TO BE BLESSED OF THE LORD THERE ARE CERTAIN PRINCIPLES THAT MUST BE FOLLOWED. THESE PRINCIPLES WERE ESTABLISHED BY THE EMBODIED IN THE FIRST CHURCH THERE EVER WAS.

(1) One that loves God’s Word
** The majority of the new believers in the first church were Jewish by birth.
** God opened their eyes and they saw the scriptures as something more than just a set of rules and regulations, more than a history book about their people; it was a relevant book that could transform their lives.
** The church God blesses will be a church that is devoted to learning, teaching, preaching, and sharing the Word of God.

(2) One that fellowships with each other
** In spite of all of the diversity, God’s people can enjoy the rich fellowship.
** We share a common commitment to Jesus Christ: our Savior and Lord
** We share a common lifestyle: walk in the light
** We share a common goal: glorify Jesus in all that we do
** We share a common sacrifice: chosen not to love the world

(3) One that worships together
** The reference to “breaking bread” tells us that the God’s people in Jerusalem worshiped by celebrating the Lord’s Supper.
** The church of today has lost sight of what worship is to be about. Many are guilty of evaluating a worship service as if it were a performance that needs to be rated.

(4) One that prayers
** Prayer was a critical component in the health of the church in Jerusalem.
** There is a pipeline of power; it is available through prayer. Are you connected?

AFTERTHOUGHT: IF WE WANT THE LORD TO BLESS THIS CHURCH, THEN WE MUST BE INDIVIDUALS GOD WILL BLESS.
