Mitsubishi Lancer (A70) was first introduced in 1973. It was the first generation of Mitsubishi's most famous name plate "Lancer". The sedan production of this model ended in 1979. This was a replacement for the Colt 1200, last sold in 1970. This particular model is also known as the Mitsubishi Lancer Flat Light, due to the horizontal placement of the rear tail lights.
