In Colombia’s capital, Bogota, authorities are pouring tax dollars into saving sick trees, instead of cutting them down. Bogota’s environmental department is treating more than 57,000 potentially sick trees with the help from a mobile unit. To improve air quality, the World Health Organization suggests cities plant at least one tree for every three citizens. But Bogota still falls short of the WHO goals with more than six people per tree there. Watch the video for more.
