Summer Study/Work Stream

HOW IT WORKS:
Every study session will last a certain amount of time (e.g. 30 min., 1 hr.), so take this time to work on whatever you need to finish. Then after the study session is complete, we'll take a break in between. Rinse and repeat until we reach the goal number of sessions. GLHF. 🤓

(Disclaimer: There will be times when I won't be able to reach the intended number of study sessions due to several reasons, mainly balancing college with family and work, so I ask you to please be mindful that there will be circumstances in which I cannot control that will likely and inadvertently affect these streams.)

CHAT POLICY:
- I will only respond to chat during the break sessions or intermissions (exception: if I have to be out of the room, I'll put a msg in chat in regards to that)
- keep it respectful and diplomatic
- no blatant self-promos/advertising
- Refrain from spamming in chat
- When in doubt, clearly state your intentions, either written or with tone indicator(s) (ex: /s, /j, /srs, etc.)
- Keep current politics at a minimum

Violating any of these rules will result in you getting timed out or blocked from chat, depending on the severity or repeat offenses. More rules will be added and amended in case of any further issues during the streams.

A little about myself:
Hello to whoever is reading this. My name's Dong. I'm an indie content creator/streamer and do various types of content, ranging from gaming, vlogs, or study streaming. I am a Vietnamese American (or Việt kiều in Viet), originally from Nebraska, but I moved to Georgia. I am majoring in film/video production in college, and I hope to pursue a successful future where I can support my family and help others however I can.

I started doing study streams after I stumbled across James Scholz's YouTube channel (check him out here:    / @jayskullz  ) who streams himself studying with a Pomodoro timer and talks about self-improvement, as well as reviewing old technology. His study streams inspired my own study stream journey, and ever since then, it has helped me enjoy studying a lot more and made me more productive in the long run. I give my deepest thanks to him, and without his streams, I wouldn't be as successful as I am today.

Q: Why do you stick your fingers up in the thumbnails?
A: I'm counting the numbers of streams in binary, just for fun

Q: Why are you talking when you're muted (during study sessions)?
A: I mute myself during study sessions to not distract anyone doing their work.
