Mid-Tier Unimodal Espresso Grinders: DF64+SSP MP vs Forte+Ditting Burrs

What’s the most budget friendly way to get into unimodal style “ekspresso”? In this video I compare two popular options: the DF64 with SSP Multi-Purpose burrs and the Baratza Forte/Vario with steel Ditting brew burrs. Is one better than the other and what does it take to get them to produce the same espresso quality of grinders five times the price?
