Steam Train - World's Oldest Railway at Middleton Station, Leeds, England

Описание к видео Steam Train - World's Oldest Railway at Middleton Station, Leeds, England

I rode this Steam Train on the Middleton Railway during a downpour 31 October 2021. This railway opened as a wagonway in 1758. Steam trains were added in 1812. This railway is the world's oldest continuously working railway. It is located in the city of Leeds, England. In the video you see the engine reverse and couple in front of the guards van for the return journey, which ends at the main station platform. See other journeys in my playlist for British Trains.
