Seve not having his own way against Greg Norman in this 'Battle of the Giants' during the Semi final of the Alfred Dunhill Cup in October 1988 at St Andrews.
Seve was exhausted after a fantastic season and struggled to maintain his brilliant form.

I am afraid the coverage ends with Seve + Greg hitting to the 17th in dense fog. Absolute farce! Norman shot 67 to Seve's 69. Seve must have birdied 17 or 18 and Norman parred in. We will never know unless someone out there has an idea what happened next.

One thing to notice is Greg's caddy... the very young,infamous Steve Williams who went on to caddy for Tiger. At one time, he was New Zealand's 2nd highest paid 'sportsman'!

He now carries Adam Scott's bag, the current Masters Champion. He must doing something right.
